Hara Ra/Andrea:
I'm forwarding this to exi-bay and cryonet, because I
imagine some other people have the same misapprehensions
you have, and it doesn't seem to contain any confidential
information.

I get messages every month asking me to vote for a venue.
I am a member for *free* -- the money is for the optional
"Meetup+", which would allow me to suggest venues of my
own. I just vote for one of the three I'm offered each
month. For free I can also look at the Members list, which
shows me how many members of that particular meetup group
are in every geographic area where it exists, not just my
own area. Most of the other features are also free.

Please go ahead and sign up now, and let other people
know how it actually works (e.g., that it doesn't have
to cost money). I don't think "they" set this up, and I
don't think the topics have to be "hot"; you can create
your own Meetup. http://www.meetup.com is the generic
site. http://cryonics.meetup.com is the subdomain for
the International Cryonics Meetup.

Let's see who's interested in a regular get-together, and
go from there. I'd like to see if people who aren't
signed up yet would be interested in coming, if I can
figure out how to get the word out, but I'm getting ahead
of myself -- first to get enough people to actually have
a Meetup to discuss it!

Hugs all around,
Kennita
