This is a reply to C.Rasch about catching a ride:

I plan to drive down to the cryonics conference on either 28th or 29th May  
(depending on its exact schedule, which I've not yet received). My car is an
old 1977 Mazda GLC (it gets me from place to place, and I don't have a car
loan to pay off!). I plan to have the car checked over beforehand.

If you can stand riding in a cranky old car, you're welcome. However, I plan
to stay over for a week after the conference on Alcor business, so you may
want to find someone for the return journey.

PS: I live in HALF MOON BAY, and if you wish to ride with me I can get over to
Palo Alto and pick you up at your house, dorm, whatever. Please tell me whether
