Um, what matter decades of oblivion when compared to
the centuries or millennia of wonders that may follow?
If I need to be frozen, I imagine that I will descend
into that oblivion old, sick, and in pain, but that I
will awaken young, healthy, and pain-free. I also
expect not to notice the decades. Those with different
cosmologies might expect them to be extremely boring (if
you don't get to astrally travel) or frustrating (if you
do, because you probably can't actually *do* anything);
nothing you can't handle if you look forward to your
eventual revival.

In any case, be of good cheer; I'm glad you're keeping
your ticket on the lifeboat.
