X-Message-Number: 22543 From: "Clement, James" <> Subject: Fund raising, trusts, bequests Date: Thu, 18 Sep 2003 08:07:30 -0400 Although very interested in hearing what someone has come up with for a reanimation trust, I will not be able to attend the ALCOR Board Meeting for the presentation by Mr. Kantor. As a former tax-attorney with years of trust and estate planning experience, I would be very interested to see any documents for a reanimation trust. I have reviewed a couple of attempts at this, and have been very disappointed... particularly because of their inability to safeguard the funds from the Trustees and/or trust protectors. I would be happy to (gratis) trouble-shoot any document that someone is considering using! I have also prepared charitable lead and remainder trusts and would be happy to (gratis) provide information about these plans to anyone interested in naming C.I., Alcor or a similar organization as the charitable beneficiary. Does anyone know whether Mr. Kantor is signed up with Alcor or C.I.? Best regards, James Wm Clement, JD, LLM (Taxation) Accredited Asset Management Specialist A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc. 1499 S.
