Subject: rich people

Christine Gaspar's #23022 refers to "Robert Ettinger's" comments about Alan
Mole's suggestions concerning soliciting the rich. I made no such
comment--someone else referred to some of my earlier experiences.

Ms. Gaspar is correct, and I have frequently acknowledged, that changed
conditions or new blood or better methods could bring success where there was
previous failure. However, as far as I can see, rich people are somewhat less

likely than others to buy cryonics, despite being better able to afford it, and
the
reasons are pretty obvious. It therefore seems to me that we will be better

served just by continuing to try to make our case to everyone. Needless to say,
those who want to aim at particular individuals are free to do so.

Robert Ettinger
