natural defences. Scientists say it will boost average

Bold claims. I've been in contact with these folks and
talked with Dr. Austad about it. Guarded optimism is
recommended. Let's see the results from the human
trials. It'll take quite a while to determine whether
it effects average life span, but they go further and
claim there are rejuvenative properties and that's
testable. As a neutraceutical, FDA approval will be
relatively easy, so if it works we should have it
soon. Their lead scientist, Sashousa (sp?) is fairly
well published. 

But I've repeatedly heard that aging is a funtion of
multiple processes, and there's not going to be a
magic bullet. So is it feasible that ameliorating the
effects of oxidative stress alone will realistically
add decades to our average life spans?
