Warmly (bold highlights added) and Sincerely Yours, For Centuries, Rudi Hoffman CFP" Well, I just thought "warmly" seemed to be a politically incorrect term to be used by the Earth's most effective cryonics salesman. (Just joking of course.) Congratulations Rudi! May you enroll thousands more. There was an article in the New York Times Science Section recently about 1000 year old mummies that had been found in Siberian Permafrost in excellent condition. I thought it was interesting that copper sheeting seemed to be a factor in keeping them in such great condition, If an accident of nature could preserve someone that long, it is a testament to the power of cold and proper storage conditions to delay decomposition. I have also been impressed with those insects perfectly preserved in clumps of amber for millions of years. These kinds of facts are not what modern day cryonics are all about. However, they are scattered threads of thought and fact that makes cryonic arguments seem more believable--just like freezing embryos for years, the frozen frogs that revive every year, etc. Randolfe H.
