The problem I see with grapefruit (Douglas Skrecky's message) is that they
are quite bitter and many people (or drinks companies) add sugar to make
them more palatable, and thereby may counteract any weight loss/ insulin
advantage in most cases. Also they may be acidic and therefore have a bad
effect on the teeth if consumed very frequently.

Maybe the answer is as with Resveratrol, take the product in concentrated
form in capsules.
