X-Message-Number: 23386 From: "John de Rivaz" <> Subject: grapefruit Date: Fri, 6 Feb 2004 11:56:10 -0000 The problem I see with grapefruit (Douglas Skrecky's message) is that they are quite bitter and many people (or drinks companies) add sugar to make them more palatable, and thereby may counteract any weight loss/ insulin advantage in most cases. Also they may be acidic and therefore have a bad effect on the teeth if consumed very frequently. Maybe the answer is as with Resveratrol, take the product in concentrated form in capsules. -- Sincerely, John de Rivaz: http://John.deRivaz.com for websites including Cryonics Europe, Longevity Report, The Venturists, Porthtowan, Alec Harley Reeves - inventor, Arthur Bowker - potter, de Rivaz genealogy, Nomad .. and more Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=23386
