It was too late for this year, but I'd be interested in going next
year -- especially if I had company.

Note, everyone, that there's a video festival/contest, with two
categories -- Best Documentary and Best Short. The shorts are
probably all funny, but we might want to have an entry or three
in the documentary category.

I just looked at the events list, and it looks like great fun,
if I can find any warm clothes after living in California for
over 20 years! I might also need help getting around in the
snow.... Anyhow, I'm willing to write to the event director
about a booth, but I don't know how soon it would be appropriate
to write asking about 2005, and it might be better if someone
who can speak officially for somebody to write to her (or call?).

...

What do people think of my starting The Cryonics Consortium,
to do things that it's appropriate for all the major cryonics
organizations (and maybe some minor ones) to work on or
participate in together? No infighting allowed. Depending how
that went, maybe it could have a PAC (The Cryonactivists?).

Input gratefully accepted. Hint: "It can't be done" won't go
over well with me. "Here are some problems you might have" is
better. "And here's how you might deal with them" is better
yet. "I'll help" is best of all.

Live long and prosper,
Kennita
