Though Norway is not a member of EU, we have an association with EU, a kind of
European economic collaberation agreement,
and we are also part of the Schengen agreement.

Basically the Nordic countries have had a free travel and labour market since
just after World War II,

and when Denmark, Sweden and Finland joined EU, they insisted that Norway and
Iceland though not members of EU, should still be included in a free travel and
labour arrangement with EU. Thus we are part of the Schengen agreement, that
also includes most countries in EU.

Thus for all practical purposes it shouldn't be a problem for local or foreign
cryonisists to move or do transactions between Norway and the other Schengen
countries.

Great Britain and Ireland are not part of Schengen, neither is Switzerland, (the
last is not as thightly associated with EU either), so there might be some
problems with travel and transfers including these countries. At least the need
for a passport, probably customs inspections too, possibly quarantines and who
knows what else.

Sincerely,

Trygve
