The following article appeared in the Sunday, September 19
edition of the Tucson newspaper, The Arizona Daily Star:

CALIF. `PEOPLE FREEZING' FIRM TO MOVE TO ARIZONA

SCOTTSDALE (AP) -- A California organization that
freezes people for future revitalization plans to move
to Arizona, ostensibly to avoid what it sees as a grave
     risk of damage by earthquake.

If negiotiations for a Scottsdale site succeed,
Alcor Life Extension Foundation will transfer its
facilities from Riverside, Calif., to this Phoenix
     suburb.

"Riverside-San Bernardino is the one area in
California that is most likely to receive the center of
a devastating earthquake in the next five years," said
     Stephen Bridge, Alcor's president.

"The tanks could be knocked over and rupture.
They're talking about the possibility of 150,000
homeless people, creating riots and things. It's
     unpredictable," Bridge said this week.

The article still says "If". What is the status of the building
purchase?
