pushing for the state of California to create a 3 billion dollar initiative to 
support stem cell research on a level 

dwarfing even what the federal government does.  I would say it's about time for
masses of headline grabbing 

celebrities & Hollywood dealmakers to start supporting stem cell research (aside
from Christopher Reeve and Nancy 

Reagan of course)!  I'm just not sure how this California research center will 
get around the federal regulations 
limiting the scope of the research itself.

But still it looks like the tide just may be turning in our favor.
