John, could a root cause be the dang fallible primates who run these
organizations?

you continue:
Yet the enemy is death or even more broadly put, this uncaring creation that
has individuals ageing, sickening and dying. I seem to recall a story about
Abraham Lincoln picking up an bundle of stocks and showing how hard it is to
break the whole bundle as opposed to breaking each stick individually. This
story may well be a myth, but it does show how all this fragmentation and
discord does the overall "cause" no good at all.

You just don't want to pick up a bundle of sticks and cut yourself because some
of them have razor sharp thorns!

you continue:
I have no idea what the answer is, but maybe those seeking to form another
of these groups should consult the writings of President Lincoln to seek a
solution.

I think their preferred reading would be Machiavelli and definitely not
President Lincoln. Come to think of it they

might very much love the writings of Cromwell with a little bit of Peron and
Franco sprinkled on top.

I just hope Ventureville & the Venturists can avoid having its own Cultural
Revolution... But I am convinced Chairman

Pizer will be able to keep us safe from ourselves (if he goes into the big shiny
dewar watch the future simians on the

board *currently as far as I know we only have enlightened human beings on it*
scream and fight over control of
resources).

Dave, PLEASE take good care of yourself!!

Best,
