Robert Ettinger LOL!! This was a great response to Hayflick, along with the earlier more scientific responses. I confess, I was a bit disapointed that Hayflick (who is rather well known due to "the Hayflick limit" for cell divisions) is so negative and seemingly poorly informed about current realities of antiaging research. He is widely quoted in Scientific American articles regarding antiaging, in several issues, as one of the "token skeptics" about human potential for aging intervention. While I appreciate skepticism, his criticisms seem overreaching, non-scientific, and downright inane. Bravo, Robert Ettinger, for hitting this particular nail on his rather hard head! LOL!
