General Manager to provide on-site management and direction of the company, its administration, and its research and services staff. Since SA is a small company, the manager will be expected to participate in all activities including cryopreservation procedures for clients. Suspended Animation priorities include research into ischemic injury and designing, building, and testing computer- controlled perfusion and cooling systems. The General Manager should have ten years of practical experience in an engineering or scientific field (preferably biological) and five years of general management experience (preferably in a biological field). The GM should be familiar with business contracts, cost/schedule control, and general cost accounting. Applicants should have a BS in biology, chemistry, physics, or electrical engineering. An MS is desirable. We are hoping to find someone who has substantial knowledge and understanding of cryonics (theory and practice), rather than just a superficial interest. This job will entail designing, modifying, and building equipment. Ability with CAD software and some understanding of LabView programming are highly desirable.
