I have seen a little demonstration that illustrates extremely well the sort
of damage freezing causes. In a TV program called Mystery Hunters, they took
a fresh brain (not a human one), put it in a stainless steel bowl and poored
liquid nitrogen on it. Needless to say, the brain quickly froze solid. Then
they let it taw. From its original rather elestic and firm texture, the
tawed brain was turned into a disgusting greyish pink mush that retained
almost none of its original structure. This demonstration showed how
extensive the damage caused by freezing can be. Finding a way to preserve
brains that bypass this problem is a must, or future technology will have
great difficulty putting things back the way they're supposed to be.

Duct tape is a lot like the Force,
it has a Light and a Dark side
and it binds the Universe together.
