Subject: Comments for Skrecky & Potvin

For Doug Skrecky:

I have already discussed the problems with inferring lifespan-extending
therapies from their effects on fruit flies. However I don't quite
understand how your reference in NATURE explains why your own
experiments with resveratrol didn't show any lifespan increse. Were
you restricting the diets of these fruit flies at the same time
as you gave them resveratrol?

For Rick Potvin:

What inhibits you from simply telling the latest news on Ted Williams
rather than telling us to go somewhere else to read it? If you want
to advertise your net site, it would look better if you at least told
part of the story and said that the rest could be found there. I've
read some negative messages about Cryotalk, which inhibits me from
bothering to access your web site because I would wonder just how
new your news about Ted Williams was. Being a bit more explicit about
what you offered would help a lot.

After all, on MY website I tell of experiments which explain how we
can soon achieve physical immortality :-). So everyone should make
sure to log on :-).

Best wishes and long long life for all,

                   Thomas Donaldson
