Subject: Further Ted Williams legal wrangling

He's right, there is some interesting news there. The main reference
is the following article claiming that Williams' nephews won the first
round in getting Alcor to produce a "document of gift" authorizing
Ted's anatomical donation. If this works, it breaks Alcor's presumed
confidentiality agreement with Ted, and it's questionable whether
confidentiality for suspended patients is legally feasible any more.
In the story Joe Waynick is quoted as being undecided about whether to
appeal or produce the document.

The practical consequence of this is that you might save your cryonics
organization a pile of money by giving up on confidentiality after
you're suspended.
