Actually this concern seems a little overwrought. People have been being  
"revived" for decades if not centuries, and I don't recall the Church  

complaining.  Usually they are joyful, and praise God for allowing it.  And if 
you 

analyse the word re-vive (where vive means "live", as in Vive l'amor)  it 
clearly 
means to restore to life or return from death. Granted nobody who was  ever 
revived was ever "really" dead, the word and the idea behind it have some  
historical strength. It's the standard way of expressing the concept.
 
Religion always opposes intervention in the will of God, but eventually  
comes to accept each medical advance it originally opposed. My intelligent  

Christian friends are not much upset by cryonics, thought there are always  
fanatics 
opposed to everything.
