If you count all the traditional religious people who want to live forever with 
God in Heaven, I think that is about 65% (or more) of the people on earth.


Those people who *say* they would not physical immortality say so because they 
either believe they are going to live forever in Heaven or they don't believe 
physical immortality is possible, and so they think it is silly or stupid to 
admit they want it.


IF the truth were available, I would venture that 99% of the people who have 
healthy happy life don't want to lose it --- ever.  That is the same as wanting 
immortality.
