Has anyone thought of going after Bill Gates & wife as possible cryonics candidates and supporters? Surely he would like to see the state of the world in 100 years? If he publicly supported us it would arouse a lot of interest in cryonics. << Maybe this would be a good time to remind people of the existence of a useful page for bright newcomers with ideas: http://www.cryonics.org/whydontwe.html With regards to this proposal, it says [Why don't we] Try and get famous people interested? They are very unlikely be willing to spend the time evaluating cryonics personally, and any assistant is going to find it less demanding on his own time to dismiss the idea out of hand. And who was the "god" that came up with this answer? Sounds like stereotyping to me. Why wouldn't they be interested in evaluating cryonics personally? If they became aware of it, they might be very interested, especially someone like Bill Gates.
