Subject: new Updates for ANTIAGING DRUGS book

To anyone on Cryonet who bought A GUIDE TO ANTIAGING DRUGS and wants
to keep it updated:

I have prepared 3 Updated versions of Chapter 10, now on melatonin AND
epithalamin (and an artifical drug based on epithalamin), all of which
have now passed my lifespan test (they all increased the lifespan of
some strain of healthy mammals). Both melatonin and epithalamin come
from our pineal gland, which is why they're in the same chapter; again,
of Chapter 12, on chromium picolinate, with a much longer and more
detailed discussion of toxicity (in response to the unfounded claims
that it's too toxic for human consumption); and another version of
Appendix 2: Drugs Waiting in the Wings, about various drugs which
might pass the lifespan test if it were applied to them. A lot more
such drugs have been proposed recently, and I list and give brief
references to each of them. I also removed THYMOSIN from the list,
not because it's actually failed any lifespan test but because it
has actually passed one. I have decided to put out these Updates
now rather than wait until I've finished the Update on thymosin,
mainly because with various interruptions I doubt that I can do
the thymosin Update before the end of 2004. Expect it in 2005.
It will be the 16th chapter of the book; with it I will send new
page dividers with shorter headings so that they all still fit
along the side.

Each of these chapters has been rewritten. For US users of the GUIDE
I am charging $5.00 US for each one, which includes not only the
price of the Update but also airmail postage.
