Your brain makes copies of the original memories when ever you recall
something. The recalled memories are then stored. Thus if your argument 
holds
true we only think we are the same person. At any time we are only the
instance of what we could have been.
Thus Cryonics boils down to a simple survival instinct and nothing else.
