X-Message-Number: 25470 From: "John de Rivaz" <> References: <> Subject: Re: Any girl here ? Date: Tue, 4 Jan 2005 17:57:43 -0000 In answer to the person advertising for a girl friend on CryoNet. You also need a large earning capacity to afford both children and cryonics arrangements for your entire family. My advice would be to try and find a companion locally (at least the same country). Cryonics interests many people in a vague sort of manner. When it is introduced under the glow of a fresh romance people are likely to be more receptive to new ideas and at least give it a fair hearing. The great advantage of this is that the cryonics community grows by one person. It is likely that women already in the movement are already partnered. Single men in the movement are grossly outnumbered by single women. I don't know the actual figures, though -- maybe someone else can give an estimate. Many groups do not accept lonely hearts advertisements from single men for this reason. It is not because they have anything against the concept, just that such men are unlikely to get a reply. I am not sure what is available where you live, but some research amongst magazines in newsagents and of course the Internet will probably find a good quality dating agency. Put "cryonics" in your details and that may well put a few off, but you don't want these anyway. Also put other interests as well, and be prepared to spend money in order to be as informative as possible if you are advertising in a paid for medium. -- Sincerely, John de Rivaz: http://John.deRivaz.com for websites including Cryonics Europe, Longevity Report, The Venturists, Porthtowan, Alec Harley Reeves - inventor, Arthur Bowker - potter, de Rivaz genealogy, Nomad .. and more Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=25470
