For Doug Skrecky: If you think that one or another or all forms of Vitamin K will prolong lifespan, then do the necessary experiments to show or not that it will. Have you at least tried it with fruitflies? You know my own opinion of fruitflies, but it's a start at least. And given the effort and time you've put into experiments on fruitflies, I suspect that you could put that same level into a lifespan experiment with MICE. Sure, you can do more fruitfly experiments than mouse experiments, but then fruitfly experiments mean little while mouse experiments potentially mean a good deal. For Mathew Malek: Before CI got Pichugin to work for them I would have suggested Alcor hands down. Now I would say that they're far more even. The best way to find out is to send to each group and ask for their material for new members, then read it (and any literature to which it refers) and make your own decision. But keep on your thinking cap when you read --- both groups consist (wonder of wonders!!) of human beings, who will tend to play down any other cryonics organization, both openly and slyly, and often quite unconsciously, too. Best wishes and long long life for all, Thomas Donaldson Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=25703
