Jonathan, I appreciate your enthusiasm for marketing, but I am disturbed by your misrepresentations. I wish that you would try to be more sure of your information before you broadcast. Both CI and Alcor have been engaged in many media events and do so on an ongoing basis. Frankly, I find journalists to be an irritating distraction from my efforts at technical improvement -- they are always demanding time. > I would love to build that with CI in the future. > Furthermore 21cm got a research grant of more > than 900 000$USD and Dr. Pichugin got 0$USD Your stated intention to join CI does not make you a spokesperson for CI. Even if you join CI, that will not be sufficient qualification for spokesperson. You are making major misrepresentations with the above statement. 21CM is not a cryonics organization, it is a cryobiological research facility. All cryonicists should be delighted by research money going into cryobiological research -- even when by cryobiologists who hate cryonics. Their research will be of benefit to us. Money given to 21CM is not money taken from CI. Moreover, in April CI received about US$45,000 from Immortalist Society donations for Dr. Pichugin's research. Where did you get the figure of "0$USD" ? -- Ben Best, President, Cryonics Institute Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=26198
