Subject: Dr Stodolsky's so-called reply

To David Stodolsky:

Your reply to me in the 15 September Cryonet --- or perhaps I should
say your failure to reply --- drops you in my estimation. After all,
you made several claims about human behavior. It was after you made
them that I asked for references. As almost everyone knows very well,
facts can have different implications depending on how you interpret
them.

You replied to me by simply saying that it was up to me to look up
the references. Either you couldn't really provide support for your
previous claims, or you thought them so unquestionable that they
needed no particular references or discussion. I can't really
understand your reply in any other way.

It's of course your perfect right to refuse to discuss some belief
of yours with someone who asks about it. Just don't expect that
person to accept what you say on any matter after doing so.

Best wishes and long long life for all,

              Thomas Donaldson
