Although I can understand the "pecking order" analysis in the rest of
Charles' article, I think that there are some differences that are far from
negligible. In particular the putting of names on the site that suggest
approval where none is given, and asking for gifts of money in a manner that
insinuates approval by the existing organisations.

Hopefully these were genuine misunderstandings or behavioural difficulties
and not deliberate attempts at fraud, but either way they are important
differences.
