On an emotional level, there is some truth to it.  I'm embarrassed by Jon
partly because he reminds me of myself.  There are a lot of enthusiastic
people in cryonics who are bucking the system and selling non-existent
technology.  There's a little bit of Jon in all of us.  BUT... he has
definitely crossed the line into fraudulence.  Not once, but on a habitual
basis.  And he has clearly stated that he has no intention of changing.  I
wouldn't believe him even if he did say he was going to change.  I'm cynical
enough to believe that almost nobody is capable of changing.  Don't take
pity on him or he might decide to have you as the keynote speaker at his
next international conference.
