It is not a good idea to try and state categorically that it is not possible
to do things that at present only exist in fantasy, such as time
manipulation, alternative universes and so on. All that can reasonably be
said is that these things seem highly unlikely. To state categorically that
they are impossible, the writer would need knowledge not only of current
science but all future science.
