Subject: Reminder: 4pm January 22, 2006, Alcor Northern California meeting and
potluck

The January 22, 2006 meeting will start at 4pm at my house:

   381 N Fernwood Circle
   Sunnyvale, CA 94085

Both mapquest and google maps give good directions. Try not to go to
381 S. Fernwood Circle instead. The correct destination is outside of
the circle, not inside, and of course it's further north than the
incorrect destination.

The agenda accumulated for the 4pm meeting so far is:

* The group needs a new chairman because I (the present chairman)
haven't been calling meetings regularly. The ideal qualifications
for the next chairman would be:

** Not involved in transporting patients to Alcor, since my problem
has been that the regular meetings have often been too low a
priority for me to pay attention to them.

** Able to make an agenda and interrupt people when they stray too
     far from it.

** Disciplined enough to call meetings on a regular basis.

Let's get some volunteers/candidates and have an election.

I don't think availability of my house for hosting meetings in the future
will be affected by whether I'm chairman or not.

* We did have a standby locally recently. Andrea and I will be
  talking about it.

* Kennita pointed to some documents on the Santa Clara County
coroner's web site about how they do business.

* Kennita also will be talking about her involvement in the 2006 Frozen
  Dead Guy Day festival.

If you have other agenda items, please send them to me as email.

Practical help with cryonics arrangements is often available at these
meetings. If you need witnesses for your forms, this is the place.

The potluck dinner and socializing is after the meeting, probably
somewhere around 6pm.

Pass it on: The Integral Fast Reactor can provide safe, clean
