Maybe it's my inner inveterate proofreader, but I caught "IMMORALITY INSTITUTE" right off. It got me to thinking: might some people associate immortality with immorality simply because of their morphological similarity? Imagine the impression made at a gut level by "THE PROSPECT OF IMMORALITY" or "PHYSICAL IMMORALITY" on people who subscribe to a meme-set where immoral->evil->avoid/destroy. Maybe that's not what's going on, but it would explain a few things.
