Is there a data sheet or Web page (not a book, please)
that I can see about this, or some freeware or low-cost
shareware that I can run on my Mac?

Wait -- I may have answered my own question. I typed

"exploratory data analysis" tools

into Google and got 230,000 hits, of which the first
was the Wikipedia entry.

I may check out

MANET (free Mac-only interactive EDA software)

and the links from the Wikipedia page before I write up my
next survey. I love the Web! I love the 21st Century!
I love life!

Live long and prosper,
Kennita
