Subject: life extension vs. cryonics

I think Jordan is off the mark a bit in his conclusion that (for older
people) life extension tactics are a waste of time, and we should focus
exclusively on cryonics.

First, it doesn't take three hours a day of exercise and study/use of

supplements. One hour is enough. Second, a five year extension is not useless or

negligible. For example, the cryonics procedures will be better in five years,
improving your chances. You will probably have more money, improving your
chances. Third, his "five years" is arbitrary; it could be more, and could
improve with time.

I see no appreciable conflict.

Bob
