Sounds like another ignore-all-the-good-stuff
book.  I wonder if the author accounts for the
fact that others would have been preserved, and
under better conditions, than Dr. Sheehan, and
that those others might include his wife.  Or
that there would be someone there to disabuse
him of the notion that it was 2006 well before
he was confronted with any other realities.  Or
that any life-extending technologies whatsoever
have been implemented.  Oh, and of course all
nanotech research has been stopped in its
tracks.

I can hardly wait to see Dr. Sheehan spout some
"I'd rather be dead" nonsense -- not!  I
imagine that if I were revived into a world lke
the one Mr. Jenkins seems to portray, my
response would be "You dolts, you f'd up my
planet!  I can't wait to get out of this
hospital so I can figure out what to do about
it!".
