I'm sorry, but are you the Cryonet police?
I agree that off-topic isn't ideal, but if you don't like a person's
post, filter them.

Have you been following this thread?
If you have, why bother with this wrist-slap?
The thread started because I was bemused by the talk about Singularity
which was over-shadowing talk about reality (e.g. poverty, politics,
environment, economics). When I expressed this, the dialogue naturally
developed.

The serious problems for cryonics posed by the issues covered should
be quiet obvious. If you re-read my posts and it isn't obvious, I'll
explain in more detail to yourself, personally if you want.

Is your response appropriate?

I strongly disagree. We should be discussing the potential threats to
the cryonics experiment. If you don't like it, don't read my posts.

I'm not lurking, I'm active.
I'm not putting you down, I'm engaging in free debate with those who
chose to respond. If you feel "put down" then you should examine why.
Perhaps I burst an unrealistic bubble of yours.

Advancing cryonics requires free debate among cryonicists and anyone
else interested in it.
