Subject: Alternative to the "Digest" Option

messages to be delivered in a non-digest mode?

It would, but this question has been asked over the years to the listowner,
who made CryoNet unlike most other lists, and would not budge.

But you can get around the problem. First, CryoNet collects unposted
messages in a queue, which you can view here:

http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/dspq.cgi

If you are the author of a message in the queue, you can even do special
things to it, if you take the time and trouble. In any case, you can view
individually any message currently slated to be in the next day's digest,
simply by selecting it. That is how I viewed your message I am now
replying to.

The "queue" is flushed sometime in the wee hours of the AM and turned into
(1) a Digest that gets emailed to every subscriber and (2) posted to the
following location:

http://www.cryonet.org/0001.html

Scroll down to the bottom link and select it, to see the most recent
messages, INDIVIDUALLY. That is the only way to get your messages in
non-Digest mode. But now you also know how to see them before they even
GET to the Digest.

Enjoy.

P.S. The downside is that if you wish to post to CryoNet, you have to be
subscribed and that includes receiving the Digest in email. However, you
do not have to be subscribed for very long to do that :D
