cryonicists die every year.  I wouldn't worry
about it.  Besides, if you work it right, you
will deanimate in the presence of a cryonics
team; possession is nine-tenths of the law,
not to mention that their protocols will
render your brain unusable for transplant
within minutes.

I think a partial brain transplant is more
likely to be used to save you than to kill you.
Just my intuition.
