X-Message-Number: 28405 From: Date: Thu, 7 Sep 2006 14:55:36 EDT Subject: Suspicious brain cancer deaths Hi, It has recently come to my attention that James South and Thomas Donaldson have died of brain cancer. I also have a report that Saul Kent has had a brain tumor. All three of these men supplemented. I have reports giving the supplemental regimens of Saul and James with a very scanty one indicating two supplements taken by Thomas. There is a discussion of this in the Google news group, sci.life-extension of which the link is; http://groups.google.com/group/sci.life-extension/browse_frm/thread/237b5dc27d67b015/d846014a6cabd397?lnk=gst& q=Thomas+Donaldson+James+South+brain+cancer&rnum=1#d846014a6cabd397 Another discussion has also been started at; http://groups.google.com/group/sci.life-extension/browse_frm/thread/470b17c9d6 933338/82d874c865c5de22?lnk=gst&q=Thomas+Donaldson+James+South+brain+cancer& rnum=2#82d874c865c5de22 The members of the news group can think of no examples of people known to have a heavy regimen of supplementation with any other major age related disease or who have died. Nor do we know of any famous life extentionsists with age related disease or death who supplement heavily. These data argue conclusively that there is a causal relationship between the supplemental regimens of the three and their brain tumors. They further suggest the possibility of a causal relationship between the lifestyles of supplementing life extentionists and the lack of age related disease other than brain tumors. Linus Pauling and his wife died of cancer after supplementing with mega doses of vitamin C, and 2030 died of pancreatic cancer. These three data are consistent with both hypotheses, but constitute only the very slightest additional evidence. We are in great need of assistance in further evaluation of this ominous development. Specifically we need to know the following: 1) What supplemental regimen did 2030 use? 2) Are there any other examples of life extentionists with major age related disease or death. What were their regimens and ages? 3) What was the supplemental regimen of Thomas Donaldson? 4) What is the recent supplemental regimen of Saul Kent? It is standard epidemiological practice to investigate dietary and supplemental evidence without mentioning any specific items. Scientists don't like to "put words in the mouths" of people questioned. For this reason I will not included what I know of the regimens of the people mentioned, but for the benefit of this group I will post it after posing the questions. (no need to waste time searching the net for it) Yes, I have identified suspect substances, and will post what I know shortly. Can anyone help? Respondents can use this forum or the sci.life-extention threads. I will cross post the pertinent Information.
