Subject: is there a dangerous transition period?
References: <>

The last generation before real longevity settles in.

The discussions of a possible takeover of CI reminded me of an old worry, the
period when it may become clear to most people that if they can only hold on for
30-40 more years, they are likely to live at least several hundred more years.
If at that time cryonics will also be a proven technology (e.g., animals
de-animated and re-animated) there may be a rush on our facilities. I would
appreciate knowing of any previous discussion of such possible interregnum
and/or your individual crystal ball.
