Subject: Thanks to Rudi and Mike

Apology accepted, Rudi, and it could have been much shorter. You could
have taken 10% of the time you did writing that message, and used the other
90% to answer my original inquiry:

 >Tell us what they had to say about their new
 >Reanimation Fund. You've already talked about the idea - you were going to
 >do one yourself, I believe. How's that coming along? Or is it the same as
 >Alcor's? Or did they trump yours?

I do look forward, though, to hearing from you on that, when you make the
time. In case some readers are wondering why I keep asking Rudi about
this, it has to do with his CryoNet post 28445 in which he says:

"The magic leverage of life
insurance can not only fund your SUSPENSION. It can create huge amounts of
tax free wealth. These amounts can be distributed in multiple trusts, in
different venues with multiple trustees.

"These can be structured to help ENABLE your resuscitation!

"The patient care trusts of CI and ALCOR are collective...and certainly may
not be sufficient.

"I am still working out details, but I will soon be announcing the next
GREAT BREAKTHROUGH in cryonics funding.

"It will be REAL magic...the kind that emerges from a foundation built on
principles that have endured for centuries and are likely to continue to
endure...even through the Singularity and beyond.

"Good news is on the way...We are going to find a way to put granite solid
funding under our castles and fairy houses, and make the promise of
physical immortality a realistic possibility. I am proud to be in this epic
adventure with you..."

Mike (99), the Part I was interesting. Hope to see Part II when you can -
maybe it will have some clues about Alcor's new fund?
