Though the term "the ebola virus of cryonics" may be overly offensive, Ben Best was quite correct in publishing this article to warn others of your dangerous behaviour. To make a defamation/libel case the plaintiff has to prove that the statements are 3 things: 1) knowingly false 2) harmful to their business and/or reputation without good cause 3) not in the public interest The only point you have is number 2, and there was definitely good cause to display this article. I suggest you forget about such petty matters and take up the offer that Ben Best gave you of signing up after a year of good behavior then focus on your other interests unrelated to Cryonics. Note that I am also banned from CI membership (as anyone subscribed to this list will know) for reasons that I consider to be unfair. I intend to sign up via Alcor instead if I can gather the funds. You are in a much better position in this regard - you merely have to behave well for 1 year. Don't promote yourself as offering services you can't Don't solicit donations Don't post legal threats about CI or other cryonics organisations Don't make other stupid public statements Focus on getting a decent job and possibly developing a business (a business where you are not putting lives at risk if you fail or one which you do not have the required skills or scientific knowledge for for) It is clear to anyone that you are a very passionate and enthusiastic young man, you will do very well if you apply this passion and enthusiasm to a different subject other than cryonics and life extension.
