Hello,
This is my first post on this list. I am in the process of making a
decision as to which group to make my cryonics arrangements with. I am
interested in folks' reactions to the tentative conclusion that I have made.
Are there important factors that I'm not considering in having made this
TENTATIVE decision?

I have tentatively decided to, for now, sign up with ACS for the following
reasons: 1. I live in Northern California, where Jim Yount and company
have a reportedly good emergency team in place. I am only 44 and in
apparently good health, but it would seem that rapidity and quality of
immediate care would seem to be a key factor in deciding whom to sign up
with.

2. ACS allows me what appears to be a desirable combination: a Mike Darwin
suspension combined with athe low-cost of a CI long-term storage, at a
lower annual and long-term anticipated cost than CryoCare.

3. Although there seems to be some question about ACS' long-term
viability, if in fact, it becomes too shaky, I can alwys transfer later.
A year or two fofrom now, for example, we'll have some signs as to
the viability of CryoCare.

What do you folks think of my reasoning?

What else should I be thinking about at this stage?

Thank you.
