The Cryonics Institute and the Immortalist Society (publishers of Long Life, previously The Immortalist) are separate organisations with different presidents and different boards. The print edition of the magazine is sent to subscribing members of The Immortalist Society. In addition, the Cryonics Institute buys copies of the printed magazine from them and distributes it to their members, both on paper and also makes it available to anyone via the web. The decision as to what is published this way is up to the Immortalist Society's president and board of directors from whom the editor and distributors of the magazine take instructions. -- Sincerely, John de Rivaz: http://John.deRivaz.com for websites including Cryonics Europe, Longevity Report, The Venturists, Porthtowan, Alec Harley Reeves - inventor, Arthur Bowker - potter, de Rivaz genealogy, Nomad .. and more Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=28766
