X-Message-Number: 28774 References: <> From: Kennita Watson <> Subject: Re: What a great day for piety Date: Sun, 24 Dec 2006 09:52:27 -0800 Hi Charles -- I plan to go to the Frozen Dead Guy Days festival (which I contend does *not* make cryonicists look like buffoons, though I also don't expect you to believe that) with a happy-go-lucky disregard for whether or not you disapprove of me. FTR, I don't think I disapprove of Mr. Despres *nearly* as much as you disapprove of me. I hope you've gotten over your panic, though -- it's bad for your blood pressure ;-) . As far as trying to get Kevin to keep Mr. Despres from spamming us here, forcing him to go spam those who want to read his posts somewhere else: I made a request; if Kevin ignores it, I'll sigh and go on. Hm. Thanks for the feedback; I apparently came off as self-righteous in that message. If I wear a "mantel[sic] of piety", I don't think it's "freshly fashioned". I think I pretty consistently aim not for "pious", but for "reasonable", "clear", "rational", "constructive", "optimistic", and probably a number of other positive things. Sometimes I miss. Oh well. When I start getting "Reputation too low" messages, I'll know I'd better aim higher.
