As much as I often agree with Charles, I have to disagree with him here.  
While the Frozen Dead Guy Days celebration does seem to have as part of its 
purpose the buffonizing of cryonics, I admire Kennita's brave attempt to swim 

against the tide and inject real cryonics information into the party.  I do not
know whether it is *practical* or not, but I like that she does it.  Swimming 

against the tide is the essence of cryonics -- at least for the past 30 years.
We can hope it will change eventually.

As for Jonathan Despres, I truly wish never to see any more messages from him 
ever in my life.  And he does lower the quality of CryoNet significantly, 
even with blocked messages.  I do have reservations about blocking people from 
Cryonet, but I confess that I would feel better if I didn't have to see his 
message headers.
