I agree, but that is not what Kennita is doing there.  She is doing just 
the opposite, if I understand it correctly:  Explaining what cryonics is 
really about, and that it is not about what happened to "Grandpa".  That, 
alone, is an achievement. I just don't see any negative association in this 
picture.

It also seems obvious to me that were someone not there doing that, the 
event would still be going on annually, without any voice present of what 
cryonics is really about, and leaving visitors with nothing but a 100% 
misperception of it.

And, there is always the possible side benefit of someone picking up some 
literature from Kennita's table, and signing up.

I think I understand Charles' arguments pretty well, but I just don't see 
much of a downside to Kennita's work at Nederland.
