If you really wanted to be "Un Person" then why not
put up a name that would be
acceptable. "Un Person" just draws attention to you.
If you really are under
some kind of investigation then you should be doing
every thing to keep a low
profile. You could even ask another person to present
your video.

I think UnPerson is fine.

And about your video and the assertion, by some, that
you are doing something
and others are doing nothing is a false direction to
take. A lot of folks have
put in a lot more than 25 hours of work to promote
cryonics.

Well, that is nice. But along those lines, consider
this: we are only 1000 strong after 30+ years. Why? I
submit that we are freaks of society in many ways.
Adults do not usually change their worldviews so
radically so as to commit to cryonics. But some very
few are able to accept the idea of cryonics. Freaks
like us.

So, we have to plant seeds in young minds. Sow first,
THEN reap. As ye sow, so shall ye reap. All we
cryonicists ever do is reap. And with poor results,
one might argue.

So where do we sow? On youtube. On myspace. That is
where the young minds can be reached, unless you have
Madison Avenue dollars.

THat is what my video is for. And if other cryonicists
agree with me, I would think that they would
collaborate to produce large numbers of viral music
video/infomercials, similar perhaps to what my video
aspires to.

Just a theory....

Like most achievements in the world you put it out
there and then everyone else
just tears it apart. That's ok because the end result
should be a lot better
than the first effort. Again, ---IF--- you really
wanted to put up something
important to cryonics, you should be asking advise
from the folks in the
business before you present to the general public.

Well, I will just keep on my merry little way, I
think. However, I would appreciate any constructive
comments you or others here would have.

I am doing video evaluation for the Sedona
International Film Festival and in
the past 2 years I have reviewed over 150 videos. For
a variety of reasons,
most of the videos never made it . This video, in
it's present form, would not
have made it off the shelf.
///end QUOTE///

Adults, film festivals, etc., that is certainly NOT my
intended audience or venue. Adults are pretty much set
in their worldview, and our meager memberships are the
evidence of that.

Film festival entrants require much time and sometimes
much money. I have neither. I am instead intent on
sowing, sowing the idea of cryonics in young minds, so
that we might reap members in 20 years or more.

I can generate many videos over many years. More if I
had help. They will not be worthy of film festivals
(or their elite and sparse audiences), but they will
find viewers on the Net.

///QUOTE///
I would suggest that you take it off the internet
until you have fixed the problems. As you have pointed
out you will be doing
more editing. I would hope you pay attention to the
suggestions that have been
made.

///end QUOTE///

I will consider it. I was hoping, however, for
cryonicist collaborators. None so far. What a
shock....

///QUOTE///
If this presentation only took 25 hours, I wonder what
it would look like with
50 hours of work. How about 200 or 500 hrs of work.
///end QUOTE///

I expect to put in hundreds of hours on this video and
its derivatives/descendants before I go into the
dewar. Visitors to video.google, youtube, myspace,
etc., will hopefully be able to find those videos on
the Net for many decades to come.

Thanks for your input.
