X-Message-Number: 2891 Date: Fri, 15 Jul 94 04:00:31 CDT From: Subject: CRYONICS Graphics I think Leonard is absolutely right. A plain text version of technical reports (perhaps even just an abstract) should be sent to the open net, and a uuencoded postscript version of the entire document including embedded graphics should be posted to a CRYOMSG archive. Posting and retrieving such documents would be a trivial exercise for all concerned. Mike, I'll bring you a PC uuencode program when I visit in August. --- Brian Wowk [ Brian, now I'm a little confused. Aren't postscript files always ASCII files? If so, then uuencode will not be needed for them. - KQB ] Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=2891
