X-Message-Number: 29121 Date: Sat, 10 Feb 2007 17:23:12 -0500 (EST) From: Charles Platt <> Subject: Airline weight limits Recently I was concerned to learn that within the United States, Continental Airlines has reduced its maximum weight for an item of checked baggage from 100 lbs to 70 lbs. This forced Suspended Animation to divide its largest shipping container into two separate containers. I now find that British-based airlines are imposing even lower weight restrictions. While Suspended Animation does not accept overseas clients for standby, Alcor does. Moving standby equipment quickly in and out of Britain may be more difficult than formerly. British residents might want to check into this. I have no idea what the situation is in other countries. Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=29121
